Actually you wouldn't/couldn't say that in Spanish. You can't separate such a construction from its verb component as you can in English.

I suppose the best way to ask "do you"... at least literally... would be to ask "haces" or "hace" But I am in no way fluent, so dont take my word for it.

depends. if they are doing an action than you would say hacer. Hacer la terea, hacer los platos.... but if you want to say "do you" than you wouldnt use hacer because nobody is doing an action. for example the phraze "what do you want?", would be "que quieres". or "what are you doing?", would be "que haces"
