I'll tell you what no parent would give up for their child, an emotionally unstable household. If you fight with your spouse in front of your children THAT'S what you need to give up. More than smoking, more than swearing. Nothing predicts a child's scholastic, professional or personal success more. I think there's a prevailing view that parents are ashamed of fighting in front of their kids, but that it doesn't really amount to much.

At the moment i am giving up the love of my life.. so that means i would give all i got up for my kids but if you give all up then u have got nothing to offer for your kids... i would want my kids to see me happy and with all the love and care ive got for them....money will catch up once we have love happiness and health

I get so much pleasure out of being with my children, that it's hard to think that I would have to give up anything, but I guess I would, if I had to.
