most emo kids are fake and want attention... o mommy and daddy are rich and dont talk to me i have everything i want but i want attention so im gonna dress like this and act like this blah blah blah. Its the truth...

There's nothing wrong with the concept of emo in the sense of showing your emotions but unfortunately the emotions of an emo seem to almost always be depressing, which they appear to draw satisfaction from, which begs the question of why they are depressed in the first place if all they need to pull them out of it is to tell everyone else how depressed they and make them depressed in the process. The average emo would be better defined as a sado and I'm betting if that's what the social group was called it'd be a far smaller one. I'm also really annoyed by self hating emos, who are like "Oh, I'm such an emo, everyone hates me 'cos I'm such an emo." If you hadn't decided to be an emo and then expended all your energy trying to become an emo then you wouldn't be hated by everyone but emos. Why does everyone want to be an emo or an indie kid or a scene kid can't people just be people and talk and live and love and laugh and give blood and smile and be happy with who they are and recognise that you can't be happy all the time but if you tell people how sad you are every time you're sad and make them sad in the process then they'll do the same to other people and by the time you're happy again it will have made its way back to you and you'll be sad again? Sorry for the rant...

It's not that people HATE emo as much as it is that they completely ignore it. Unfortunately rap has not enjoyed the same degree of "unpopularity". ;-)

People I know dont hate emo people they just dont talk to them because they never take the effort to talk to us so if you want people to like you go up to them and talk to them because other than that they are going to think you want nothing to do with them. And im not going to lie the girls pants on guys are just not good. It doesn't look good so just dont do it... Thank you:)

Eh, I'm depressed, I had a bad life and still do. I don't complain or cause attention to myself. I'm considered a 'emo' at my school. I mean I barely wear black, and that kind of stuff. I'm just one of those quiet shy kids who don't like talking and just sit in the back alone. So not ALL emo's are fake. If they were fake, then they'd be called posers. =/
