  • research and inquire at a few repair shops, you don't want to get played into paying way too much, especially because leather is expensive and you might think it's reasonable when it's not. My advice if you want to be cheap and have it fixed, clean them off and buy a seat cover or something to go over the leather that looks nice, any higher end store that sells car parts.
  • OK, best bet, check out a junk yard, you might be able to find the seats. Then you just have to find someone who knows how to work a wrench! Im sure you can do that! Its just a matter of taking the old ones out, and putting the new ones in, and attaching the wires. Make sure you get seats for the same year model.
  • Why are you replacing them? You didn't say. If it's because the upholstery is shot, you can simply have them re-upholstered a a suitable shop. Check the yellow pages, you'll find them. The will remove and reinstall the seats as required. You can save some money by removing the seats yourself and bringing them to the shop so you won't have to pay them for that part. If it's because the electric part doesn't work, you may be able to repair that, depending on what the cause is. Replace a switch or motor...whatever is wrong. And you can get those parts new, definately at a dealership and probably at aftermarket sources as well. Check parts stores and online sources. If you are looking at replacing the entire seat, for whatever reason, check out junkyards. I prefer ones that let me remove the parts myself, if they don't already have them removed and stocked in a warehouse. This way I can figure out how things come apart before actually removing the broken parts in my own car.
