Do you vote for the Issues or the Party?
In otherwords do you vote for the issues and the person who represents them, or just vote for your party no matter what the issues are and who the candidate is?

The issues, and the only issue for me at the moment is how to get rid of the UK Labour government, and an idiot of a Prime Minister we didn't even get to vote for.

Generally, knowing the party is knowing where they stand on the issues.

I have a brain and I use it to think. I vote issues..not party/ideaology. If my party digressed from the issues I believe are important, it would no longer be my party. Happy Friday, m'dear! :)

I tend to vote for the issues and for the candidate, although most of the time that has meant the party as well. I am in the very sad position that the party who supported the issues I believe in, the party for which I have worked for all of my adult life (and that is a long time!) has betrayed all its earlier principles, and has changed beyond recognition. I certainly won't be voting for that party again.
