I think the basis for this is that opposites attract. For instance, Im Puerto Rican (from Puerto RIco, not from the states, lived all my life in PR), and my boyfriend´s Irish. I have long brown curly hair, brown eyes and semi tanned, and my bf is blond hair, blue eyes, and as white as you can get. People look at us in a cute way, because we are so different but so in love.
