A troll, on this site, would be someone who asked a question not because they wanted an answer but because they wanted to start an argument. Or, of course, answered in the same way. A number of the most extreme sexual questions (at one end) and most extreme religious or anti-religious ones are fairly obvious trolls.

I think it is obvious when both their spelling and grammar are both like you would see from a person younger than 13 or someone under the influence. Also, the questions are usually either totally with NO merit at all, (stupid) or they are about things that immature kids think will be fun to see in print or to see us try to answer - sexual stuff, drug related questions that sound "odd", and other questions that just seem too bizarre, even for an adult with a childish mind lol
