How do you get the tail light casing off of a 2002 ford escort zx2?

Most likely there is a panel on the inside of your trunk, Once you remove the panel (on the side of the car that has the light) you can remove the light fixture, then the tail light casing. That is my best guess. My 2004 Acura TL has that system and so does my ol' 93 Chrysler Infinity!
