  • Is the parent purchasing it? or the parent(s)? If it's the 12-year old, any one they can afford. If it's the parents, any one they can find. My reasoning is this, he's 12. Twelve year olds are exactly careful with their property. Secondly, he's 12. He's possibly about to grow out of his interest in bikes. Either way, I wouldn't go overboard on this purchase.
  • I Would Probally Get HIm EIther The Specialized Fuse 1 Or 2. They Both Are A Great Bike But The Fuse 2 Is A Little Bit More Spendy.

  • i'd get him the cheapest one you can find, then if he likes the sport and breaks it, then buy a good bike with better components
  • i had a mongoose when i was younger they were concidered the best bmx then but that was over 20 yrs ago get him to do what i did ,buy a frame choose your own style of wheels and handle bars plus seat stunt nuts specialized breaks i got all my stuff second hand . i had the best bmx out of me and all my mates they had ready made new bmx`s and cost for times what mine did . get him to make one him self he will appreciate it more just because he built his own it`s very easy to make not much to it
