    This is a shot in the dark, but try an over-the-counter supplement of Fish Oil. It supplies the correct fatty acids to help your heart be at its healthiest. That and try to eat a diet with lots of green leafy veggies, whole grains, and fiber!

    MsFortunate is right on with the fish oil. That's the best way to start. My mother knocked off 75 points with just that.
    Another great option is Red Yeast Rice. It's fermented rice that is grown in China. It has been used for thousands of years. It works like the prescriptions for cholesterol, but without the negative side effects. I work at a health food store and I can't tell you how many people have come to me waving their charts in hand. Some tell me that this was the only thing that worked for them. I am truly amazed by this herb. You should look into it.
