Let me talk to the man. I had the same problem when I was 26 and I didn't even realize it was a problem until I was having sex with my wife one day and suddenly there was a SNAP and blood started shooting everywhere! It actually tore the little bit of skin at the back that connects to the foreskin. For a moment it felt good to have the skin not so tight, but then the pain began! I didn't go to a doctor right away. The skin healed eventually but we were too scared to have sex. I waited until it was so bad, a hardon would tear little nicks in the top of my foreskin, the skin would crack, and it was nasty. The circumcision was quick, but the stitches hurt for weeks. I almost went to a little old Chinese doctor. He said he could order a kit and do it in tne office for $150. He was a great doctor, but I wanted a hospital and lots of anesthesia. My wife and I are much happier now. Everything is normal. The doctor said you may lose some feeling, but that hasn't been the case. The only problem is that masturbating isn't what it was with a foreskin to play with. Just do it. If he really wants his foreskin, you can buy small metal balls that clip to your foreskin that's left behind and it will stretch the skin over time and make a perfectly good foreskin.

Sounds like it's about time for you to ask him which one it's going to be, you or the foreskin.

My husband had the same. I started to tell him about this problem and he left me. Now we are divorcing.

There is a device you can buy called the glansie (www.glansie.com) which stretches the skin without resorting to circumcision. He can also do it with his fingers, a little at a time. If it is being stubborn, his doctor can prescribe a steroid cream that will help with stretching the opening. Please please please do not harp on him to get circumcised. Many men highly regret being cut, and if there is a bad result, he will hate you for it. There are lots of nerves and veins in there, and one slip can leave him with a penis that has very little feeling. Circumcision only needs to be done in about 10 percent of cases. I know you are frustrated, but it will go better if you approach this problem the right way. Most men consider circumcision an act of mutilation.
