by having a hand in everyone's life. I want to effect everyone's life around me.. By acts of kindness, or just being helpful.. I want those moments where i would catch a girls glance across the room.. and she will remember me as that guy.. (the one who got away or just that plain creepy guy) haha things like that.. i want to bring people into my life to have memories they can define as sweet stories or something moving.. it's going good so far. Be inspiring.. Be someone, someone else wants to be. Stay strong as a beacon of light. People will remember you and rely on thoughts of you to be more then you are. This improves the quality of people around you. When you make yourself to be a good example, people will follow, people will become your mark in life.

Hopefully by making a difference in my patients' lives, either by saving them, or making them comfortable when they want to go, or nothing esle can be done.

If I keep going the way I am now, probably as the weirdo scientist who never said much really, but at least they did a bit of use while they were here. If I go back to the way I was, it would be a headline in the local newspaper saying 'Girl found dead after stupid stunt from being high'

There are famous people who will leave big marks, but it wouldnt make any sense for everyone to be famous with a worldwide audience. That would be crazy. But the rest of us all leave our itty bitty marks in our itty bitty lives. We're like the dots in a Georges-Pierre Seurat painting. By ourselves, we might only be this little dot, but man when we all throw our little dots up there together, we make some good art! My mark is going to be dog-shaped I think. Because I've rescued quite a few of them.

Subtly I suppose. What I have done and left behind will stay and have some impact. Aside from that, my mark will be just like anyone else's - no better, no worse. Just a mark.

Although I believe in the idea of reincarnation, there has always been something in my mind of actually wanting to leave something behind after I die. One of my passions is writings as it is the best way that I know that I can express my opinions, thoughts, and ideas both personally and professionally. I plan to teach my children everything that I know before I pass on to another life. They will take on my life's lessons, wisdom, and beliefs and pass them on to their children. I'm not asking them to follow these ideas or conform to my beliefs, only that they are taught to everyone that they can so atleast a part of me will live on. I'd like to touch peoples' lives as well. This way this will keep me in their minds if not hearts even after I pass on. As for the people I care for, I hope I stay in their hearts as they will mine even as I move into another life.

A freshly dug plot of ground covering a pine box (if it's still legal), and memories. Hopefully good ones. I'll be happy if there are those who say, "He helped me once". Of course there are some on AB who must know by now that being buried in a hole in the ground is not exactly everything I hope for. I thought I would give this with the perspective from which the question was asked.
