Is there a trick to taking a good picture of yourself without a camera timer or anything?

Not really. Mabye you can just ask someone to take a pic for you unless you taking pics for a P site. Timer is the second best thing.

If you're using a digital camera or camera phone, you can stand in front of a mirror and you can see the photo you're taking :)

Turn the camera the long way, hold your right hand up above your head, & point to your face. Make sure u don't get your arm up in the photo though, u may need to bring it closer to your face by bending your arm a little bit.

taking mirror pics is the best especially if you have a really big mirror you can try that they work out really good...but the flash sometimes kills it...if its light then you dont need flsh....but you can also jus try you know extending ur arm out and just trying to take it and fix it up by seeing hwo each picture came out and what was wrong and fixing it on the next one =]
