Sort of... They make them, but they are only about 250 grain. So, compared to the standard,they are much smaller. :(

As far as I know no there is no hollow point round. But there are specialized rounds for anti material use. They penetrate then sort of explode, it's called a Roufoss round. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Raufoss_Mk211 As far as the 50 cal rifles that are out there that fire a smaller 50 cal round, yes. These are specialized rifles and the round length is very small compared to it's width. They are called big bore rounds and come in a few designs and are usually hand loaded, they are used for hunting.

Yes there are many .50 cal hollow point bullets, you will find them mostly made for muzzle loaders.

depends. .50 BMG, no HP rounds are commercially available. .50 AE, yes. .50 Beowulf, yes. .50 SW, yes. for muzzle loaders, there are many HP choices.
