possibly if i want to make a very specific dish, because with a book you can always altar the recipe while you cook so start with the book and change the recipe as you cook the dish again and again

I really don't think I would be interested in using it for my own personal use. I have a large collection of cookbooks. As soon as I saw the cover, I said to myself, "What the devil does a cartoon character know about cooking?" If one of my nephews or grandchildren brought it to me to make a certain dish for him, her or them, I would refer to it.
