In my bedroom. He was sick and I had him in a box where I could keep an eye on him.

I saw this guy who had an act with a chicken...actually a rooster. He would ask the rooster arithmetic questions like, "Leghorn, how much is 2 + 3?" The rooster would scratch the table five times. He could change the numbers and the rooster got them all right.

In a bar. They had a large cage, the floor of which was drawn off in numbered squares. People would place small bets on which square the chicken would...ahem...drop. it was a lot of fun and the chicken seemed to enjoy the attention..and the corn, which was thrown in by betters kernal by kernal, to encourage him to drop on a certain spot.
