  • Why would you want to? Airbags are in cars for a very good reason, and shouldn't be disabled without an even better one.
  • The connector is behind the glovebox, under the dash and very hard to get to.
  • Disconnect the battery and wait 2-5 minutes for the capacitor to discharge. Gain access to your airbags and unhook the connectors that goes to them. Reconnect your battery and they'll be disabled. Alternatively, you can find your airbag control module and disconnect it. You do realize that you will have a much bigger chance of dying in a crash if you do this, and you will also not pass inspections in your state. You are also putting your passenger's lives at greater risk too.
  • Never mind. My daughter totalled the Camry (we both walked away, and the airbags did not deploy anyway). I bought a Jeep; it has a key slot to turn the airbags off.
  • crash then cut them out!
