Does anyone know how to make rusks from scratch? (not the ones you make with bread) If so, how do you get them really hard for the little ones to have a good chew on?

Once you have made a batch,break them into their typical rusk shapes, and then return them to the oven on 10 degrees celcius overnight, with the oven door a tad open.
