Thats the fuel system. Either the fuel pump is weak or theres a pinhole in the fuel line in the tank allowing pressure to bleed off. Other possibilties would be throttle position sensor and bad o2 sensor together cause a whole list of erratic behaviour. The engine light flashing is due to inadequate fuel pressure in the fuel log. As we all know engines get hot when they run, The heat on fuel components create pressure. This explaines why it starts easy cold then hard when run for a bit. Its harder for the fuel pump to pressure up when its fighting the heat pressure. Your local auto store can attach a system analyser to check the basic sensors. Be sure to call ahead and dont turn off the engine when you get there.Attach the analyser then shut off the truck and restart to force the condition to show its self. THE ANALYSER WORKS BEST THAT WAY. hOPE IT COULD HELP mHMACW
