Maybe they just see him as a better choice.

NO, but I'm white, and I'm voting for Obama, what does that make me?

It will be interesting to see what kind of turn out is recorded on election day. I don't know that it indicates a reason based on racism at all. It might be that it's because he's the first black person to be in the presidential election in history. I don't put much stock in polls to be honest.

With a high percentage of 94% - blacks are more racist. I have black friends who have extremely conservative values. They are against abortion, for less government and more individual freedoms, believe in school choice (which it would benefit minorities immensely) and had never heard of Obama until his campaign was launched, but.... will vote for him because he is half black. AND, will admit that this is why they are voting for him. Admit that when it comes to race - NO cause is greater. I personally think this is sad and I would be embarrassed if my race acted like this, but it's a free nation. So let the irrational chaos continue.

Maybe it's because they feel Obama will have a better understanding of their situations than another white president would, or perhaps they are voting for him because he's a democrat not a republican...

Nope it just shows that blacks have been 94% Democrat like we've been for years. Look I grew up in the hood and before Barack Obama almost every black would say they'll vote for a Democrat regardless of who ever it was. Hell before Barack was known every black was saying they'll vote for Hiliary, 2000 every black said they'll vote for Gore, Kerry sucked but we we're loyal so we voted for him. I don't know where the trend begun because they say in the past we voted Repub in massess but somehow blacks became Die hard Democrats and if you ask me I like the team my parents picked for me. The republicans are just out there.
