My strawberry plant leaves keep getting chewed or eaten by either my cat or my dog, which one is it most likely to be?

DOGS HATE VEGETABLES/ VEGETATION! (Lol...in my experience and humble opinion.) I have a lil' bichon frisee. He will eat ANYTHING, even plastic. But if a vegetable drops on the floor, it is like poison to him! I suspect it is actually neither, probably some type of aphid. But if the only choice is the cat of the dog, my vote for the cat, since we know that cats at least will eat catnip, so they are not entirely REVOLTED by vegetation!
