If you were to argue against global warming happening, what would your arguement be?

People arguing for global warming start their temperature measurements from the coldest point in the last 10,000 years. Things have got warmer since then so we have warming. If I were to advocate global cooling I would start from the hottest point I could find. Yes, the earth has been warmer in the past. The temperature trend would be downwards from there.

I would ultimately be deceiving myself to argue against the fact that it is happening and that it is our fault and responsibility.It is a well know human trait to blame what is outside of ourselves for events and happenings in the world,and mother nature has no way to defend itself.We are the only species that intentionally destroys it's environment with no regard for it's offspring.

I might suggest the shifting phases of the Sun and the significant effects this has on the planet and its weather, it's been going on for as long as humans can remember, but often interpreted as something else. However with the ruined ozone lair, I wouldn't dismiss global warming all that much.
