Actually I am years ahead on my mortgage payments. Took out a 15 year loan a few years ago and am on track to have it paid off in half or less of that time.

I actually set aside money for the rent around three weeks before the actual payment. It's my biggest expense, and I always make sure that I have money for that.

Never. In fact usually we are free and clear. Mortgage is something we never worry about because we usually pay in cash or as close to it as possible. W may be broke later but we always have somewhere to live. LOL!
