I wouldn't call them genius, but I thought they were funny.

Personally, I think they're funny. But I particularly liked the opening of Austin Powers: Goldmember (spoofing the spoof was brilliant).

honestly i thought it was too silly, I could not watch the entire movie and walked out.

I never found them funny. Yes, a couple of things made me laugh but for the most part I thought they were kind of silly without the great humor I expected.

Maybe its a generation thing-but I think they are pretty lame. Not that creative at all.

The first one was great. It was quirky, original and cleverly written. Unfortunately, in the sequels, they developed a target audience: 18-25 year-old lower class males. Mostly people interested in the "gangster" scene. This ruined it for me. I liked, in the first one, that the humor, while a bit juvenile, was smart. In the next two, the bar dropped... way low. It was infantile, really. I was disappointed.
