Question

I am looking to purchase an older vw beetle. Is it true that the super beetle is less valuable and more difficult to fix than a 72 or older one? What should I be looking for in a 73?

Youhave asked the age old question. Super guys swear by 'em, standard guys won't touch a super. The front suspension can be difficult to make work well(drive straight, not shimmy etc) As far as value, are you looking for something to drive and play with or an investment? I prefer standards myself.

always buy a bug, not a beetle. They are really pretty much the same except suspension.
