Actually only one thing; When my father died in 1997 she promised to move out of his house in one year, it's been ten years and she's still there and I have not spoken to her OR my family sence Aipril 15,1998. If she moved i might review the evidence and the dozens of requests for her to move and come to a new concusion.

lol not my mother in law now but my old one used to sit on the computer naked and shes like 350 lbs, she also was crazy never threw anything away, like she used to fill up empty shampoo bottles with water to get the rest out after you already threw it in the garbage, and she had like 4 cats who destroyed everything and she talked to them and used to blame stuff on them i could go on

Uhhh, well mine is living in the psuedo "good ole days" of 1950's TV. So I'd say I can't stand her ridiculous, conservative, possibly-medieval values and utter disregard of empathy. But on the other hand, you can't win arguments with her kind so I smile and say "ma'am" so as to avoid a possible cardiac arrest on my part.

My soon to be mother-in-law is nuts! She wants to be the center of my finace's world and cannot accept that we are now making our own decisions. She is ALWAYS making nasty comments and giving me dirty looks. She wants to control everything my fiance and I do even though we live together. She expects us to be at her house 24/7 and clue her in on everything we do. There are TONGS of things that I could list! It never ends!

stopping by unannounced and staying for hours at a time and expects us to stop what we are doing and entertain her and cook a meal at the appropriate times. Never does she ask if we had plans or offer to help with the food or cleanup. That didn't last to long - heck now we throw our coats on and walk out the door before she gets to it - "sorry,we are on our way out, next time call us and we will save you a trip"

She would literally give the clothes off her back to her daughters, but when it comes to her son, he had better learn to make his own way because she refuses to help him at all. Its sooooooo completely frustrating to see my husband beyond desperation, and have his mother tell him no, and then have her go out and pay his sister's mortgage payment and insurance. I want to slap her silly.

Haaaa, ummm...let me pick one, lol! 1] Treats her children like crap. Never tells them she loves them [been with the hubby for 8 years, never heard her tell him once!] 2] She's a troublemaker/gossiper & always has to be on top! 3] ASKING for expensive Christmas/Mothers Day/Birthday gifts.[come on, how old are we!?] 4] Like to receive complements, but loves to give criticism. 5] Has to always be that good person -- the one when everyone else if fighting -- shes adding the fuel & just watching it crumble all around us. "I just think she's insecure, honestly"--

My ex mother in law didn't like me. She was a raging alcoholic who allowed her son to be beaten by her boyfriends when he was little and used to tell me that I was trash! She was freaking nuts!
