It is likely carpal tunnel syndrome, but of course I can't say for sure. What kind of physiotherapy excercizes have you been doing? Any range of motion (ROM) excercizes? My fear is that it is getting worse, not better. There are several excellent websites to visit to figure out what the pain is, but none of them are as good as going to the doctor!! you have to stretch yourself more often & take small brakes from your duties, i work 8 hours in computer, and what realy helped me are some Yoga stretch exercises that I found in a Cosmo magazine Lol. but yeah i was hurting everyday and it was getting from bad to worse, but i also incremented my exercise i take a walk almost every day and eventually it relaxes my body, but yoga i think is really good for that type of Pains. try it, i'm gonna buy a dvd cause i don't have time to go anywhere, that's my advice take care and hope you get better.

thanks for your quick response; I am in China and have had 2 weeks of physiotherapy and 2 weeks of acupuncture to no avail. I must use my laptop as I am finishing off my on line MBA. It doesn't hurt just gets stiff and aching. i am a Canadian and dying to get home now after nearly 3 years here. Wrist hurts and aches too. R.
