Yes. Some people seem like zombies, most of which are probably just on drugs. I'm sure there are a ton in mental hospitals too.

yes. Some people are like dead fish. Zero personality and act like they almost reced into themselves. It is up to us to make sure that we bring folks like that out of their shells.

If they work at it yes they can train themselves to block their emotions. I personally hope I never get to a place in my life where I feel the need to do that.

Some people's emotional range is very narrow and they can appear cold and callous, but that doesn't automatically make them sociopaths.

Flat emotion is one of the symptoms of several personality and psychological disorders, but never are emotions entirely absent in a conscious human being.

I know this is another question and not an answer, but I'm hoping someone in this thread might have a solution for me. I feel emotionless. Not completely, of course. But I lack the ability to laugh heavily or cry more than 2 or 3 times a year. I can't imagine making actions out of impulse instead of reason. Everything I do, I do because I believe it is correct. I use logic to dictate my actions but, as you might expect, my social life suffers for it. I've tried faking emotions but this trial and error of mine has proven futile. Does anyone have a solution?

Hi Canadian Pilot, I was just wondering if you had got a diagnosis? As of late I have also been feeling emotionless. I do everything because I think its the right thing to do. Although, I am still able to laugh a lot and I cry, but I dont feel sad or happy.. I suppose, Im faking it. Was just wondering if you had any ideas... Thanks
