Try adding more fruit pectin.

heat the jam just till it boils. Add a mixture of cornstarch and water. It should thicken right away. Be careful not to let it burn! Or, you could dissolve some non-flavored gelatin in boiling water and addit to your jam. This would be easier as you wouldn't have to heat the jam. Since you already have pectin in it you don't need anymore.Pectin is more of a preservative and not a thickener.
