  • The only time I have noticed cats shaking their heads is if they have ear mites. They bite and make their ears hurt and itch, and they shake them for temporary relief.... I would check that out with a vet if it were my cat.
  • My cat does that as well. It seems to be an interested invitation to play. It's like, "hiya, let's play." I interpret it as a friendly, let's have fun gesture.
  • thats just a playful sign mostly, cuz they are frisky lol!! i call it "bobbin" their heads. Its very cute and fun to watch cuz they get silly! mine will bob her head and swish her tail at the same time and i know that whatever shes after better watch out cuz shes gonna pounce!
