What makes you think there will BE any US history books in 100 years? If our educational system doesn't radically improve soon, we won't HAVE one in another century.

History books are written by the winners. They will say whatever the government want them to say, probably stuff about terrorism, ousting an Evil leader and bringing peace and democracy. I think a much more interesting question is what will Iraqi history books say...

george w bush was the first us president tried, first to be found guilty of 125,000 counts of murder and treason, and the first to be executed. cheney will develop a convenient brain tumor and die on the French Riviera but found guilty in abstantia. Condolessa Rice and Donald Rumsfield and Paul Wolfowitz will all die of old age in prison. Collin Powell will be the nation's first republican African American president. Karl Rove, after numerous attempts to capture him, absconds with tens of billions of dollars in bribe money to argentina, where he buys a big mansion and is eaten one week later by crocodiles who needlessly also eat the tens of billions of bribe money. and, of course, i will have written a smash hit book on it all, raking in tens of millions of dollars...

The fantastic "War on Terror". History is manipulated by the shadow government. History will continue to be part fictional, part lies, with a minor amount or truth. My 2 cents.

That it was a fake and failed war started by the worst President and Vice President in America's history with the intent to distract from the failed War on Terror and various other failures and abuses of power.

depends on the out come and the eventual state of iraq. If it works out then the US will be praised for creating the powerful democratic republic of iraq, if they fail then there be scorned like hitlar for the destrution of a nation. so it realy depends, but id like to think the iraqis can sort themselfs out and learn to do what is best for thier nation not their clan's drug funaling leaders
