Elitheeli November 23 Does anyone have any idea of the corelation of how far you can long toss and how fast you can throw a baseball. Preferably put the answer in feet. EX. I throw 80 miles per hour and can long toss 260 feet.

    If so:

    Assume that everything besides the distance of your toss and the speed remains a constant, and that all players are the same height, throw in the same way, etc.

    As the distance increases, the speed will have to increase by more and more each time. It is hard to know exactly what the effect of air resistance will be.
