Has the judging for the Women's Gymnastics in the 2008 Olympics really been skewed to favor the Chinese competitors, or is it just the perception of people in the US because their competitors have been the ones effected the most?

Questionable judging certainly will affect the outcome, but as a non-Chinese and non-US observer, it all looks pretty close to me.

I think there would be the same problems no matter which two were on top. The judges cannot be from the same country as an athlete competing, so you get a lot of judges who don't have experience with top competing routines.
