If the River Thames was to breach the London Underground, would the entire subterranean part of the network be flooded? Or could it be contained?

    No. All the tunnels near the river have watertight doors which can be closed if they are breached. Only the "shallow" lines are likely to be breached, and they all climb up above river level shortly after the river. The true "Tube" lines are so deep that they don't care about the river or not the river. And they have some pretty good pumps.
