When I have meetings with my hitmen, I always meet them in a warehouse. It is easy to hide snipers in them, and gunshots can't be heard outside of it. Also, we're alergic to the sunlight.

Cynically, I would say it is cheap and easy to film in. Outdoors, you always have to worry about what is going on in the background, and the shootout will tend to worry passers-by, get the attention of police etc. It must be pretty cheap to rent an empty warehouse for the few days of filming (the owners will reckon it money for nothing) and you can be as silly as you like without people seeing you.

This does seem to be a recurring theme doesn't it I reckon big empty wharehouses are cheap location spots for hard up British production companies with plenty of room good accoustics and no members of the public to spoil the shot
