  • I can't find anything that supports that the Roman Catholic church practiced gay marriages in the 4th century. Do you have some proof of this? And marriage is a religious/christian institution. Why would homosexuals want to partake? They can be covered with the same rights as domestic partners.
  • My proof is based on information passed onto me when I was in the Roman Catholic Seminary studying to be a Priest. I value your answer but it does not address my question and it seemingly takes an unreasonable stance.   • Actually they still do sell indulgences however in a very careful way, I suppose I'm probing for anyone out there to offer a little bit of closure on the subject of socially and politically acceptance of homosexuality is it because of Church ruling which is hypocritical, or is it innate built in gene in some authoritative humans to be negative and defiant??
  • mostly because of people biased against the fact of seeing two guys, or two girls together. But the entire christian faith is based on pagan rituals from religions formed long before adam and eve. So flipflopping is quite common
