I am switching my cats to a better quality food from Nutro to wellness dry food. My one cat it taking well to the transition but my fussy cat wont touch it, ive tryed mixing it and putting both kinds beside eachother. I don't want my cat to starve,

Cats WILL starve themselves until you feed them something they like. My advice to you would be to get a different name brand or flavor of food for your cat and make mental note of the ones he or she likes in the future. Your cat won't starve. He/She will eat when hungry. Just keep putting out the new food, and don't worry too much. There was a cat caught on a roof in our neighborhood a couple of years ago (the people were on vacation). It sat up there and meowed every night. We called the cops, and they didn't do anything but check on it. Said it would come down when it got hungry enough. They were right. It was there for about a week or so. It will eat when it's hungry.

I'm with "Sin", my dog starves herself if she doesn't get her Beneful. She is a VERY picky eater, and never would eat any of the "good" stuff, (even tho' the Beneful is fairly healthy, just inexpensive).

Each cat has their own liking. I had her on Nutro until I saw this Dr. on Tv explain some greater products out their. Evo is really good for cats you can go online and find out where to buy and get coupons. It has fish oil in it veggies and real meat all the way good stuff. Her coat is so shiny and really healthy. I would not change it for anything. I found out recently they need wet and dry food for fluids . They cant count on just water there. But they will be dehydrated if they dont have both.
