I think it is quite a feat,though I am not fully convinced that he won his second last race.It was too close to call,for the only conclusion came from the officials that lean over the side of the pool.There is no close up video,pool sensors,or any technology that proved whom actually won that race,and it could have been a tie or gone either way.I have nothing against Phelps but do not believe he really got 8 gold.In the photos below the Serbian is on the right and shows that he touched first and should have won the race.

A truly magnificent athlete....without whom USA would be...well let me see 8 from 22 + 14!
