Who says anyone HAS to wear heals
-
No thanks. I'll leave that to the cross dressers.

There'd be no point. Heels are designed to tense the calf muscle, improving the apparent tone of the leg. But since men don't wear skirts, the effect would be wasted.

If it makes you feel any better, I spend about 50 hours a week in heeled shoes. 1.5 inches!

My shoes have small heels, does that count?

They wear them for fashion mostly. Looks, yes somewhat. To make them taller, yes some do. The biggest reason I see is fashion. Walking in heels also creates a sexy walk and look. Bottom line: They don't have to wear them. In their old age they will regret it. I used to wear them in the form of cowboy boots. At one time I didn't own any other footwear. Now, I have one pair I can't wear because the arthritis has affected my feet.

As a female foot fetishist (check my profile questions), I hate high heels. I'm a female FOOT fetishist, NOT a SHOE fetishist. I much rather they be barefoot. If shoes must be worn, I much rather see them in non-injurious shoes that suggest youthfulness and vitality: sandals running shoes utilitarian boots (hiking, army, Docs---not stilettos) Don't be fooled by Sex in the City episodes, gangsta rap videos, or David Lee Roth (in the song Everybody wants Some). I figure a lot of it has to do with women trying to impress each other. It doesn't impress me or many other guys. So take 'em off. Enjoy the bareness. They are likely gorgeous: need minimal adornments (maybe a toe ring, anklet, or cuff) ;-)

Im straight male and already have women boots and shoes (flat heels cos it easy to walk) - most are knee length suede boots and one is leather and one is mid calf boots plus some flat shoes include pump shoes - it nice and comfortable.
