Every thing I have read on the subject says that Hitler indeed had so many of the documents destroyed. So what little remains can only hint at his racial ancestry. There were all sorts of rumours in the thirties but often they were fabricated by his enemies or urban legends. Unless some document, that has remained hidden, surfaces, there will be no way to prove he had Jewish ancestry. The origins of his anti-semitism have long been the subject of speculation (e.g. his mother was raped by a Jew, a Jewish doctor misdiagnosed his mother etc etc). The source(s) of his anti-semitism need not be as personal as all that. The culture, the books that he read, and many of the writers, educators, thinkers he knew and admired were thorughly anit-semitic (Houston Stewart, Rosenberg, Wagner, Haushofer[sic] etc.) and saw it as fundamental to the belief in re-purifying Germany, the emergence of the supermen etc. Besides, having someone to blame for all your personal problems, and the problems of your nation, also help to gain a political following. You don't have to explain complex problems or provide somplex solutions who just say whose to blame. Mix that with the very strong imagery of the Jew raping the flower of Germany woman hood (as strong as the American white man's fear of white women being raped by black men) as we know produces very strong mob mentality.

It could or could not be true, but could be possible. In any event, what I have studied and learned about Adolph Hitler, he wanted to create a "Master Race", in which no "degenerates" were allowed. His definition of degenerates included not only Jews, but Poles, gypsies, and any human being that had a physical or mental disability. His aim was to destroy what were in his warped opinion, "lesser beings". Ironically, it turned out that Hitler himself was a lesser being. Shortly before WW II ended, it was discovered that he had Parkinson's Disease, which was evident in his hand, which he always kept hidden so no one would notice the tremors. I can't remember which hand it was. I'd say that's poetic justice for a dictator who commandeered the killing of more people in a lifetime than any other to date. But I digress. Getting back to the original question, if there was Jewish blood in his veins, he was a traitor to his heritage and no Jew worth his salt would ever want to claim him.

It is probable that he was the father of Alois but did not legally legitimise his son. So for 39/40 years Alois was Alois SCHICKLGRUBER. Johann Georg resurfaces in 1884 to stand witness that Alois is his son and so legally change Alois' surname to HITLER. Yet this may not be full proof of paternity as the legalities were necessitated by making Alois legally able to inherit from Johann's brother Johann von Nepomuk HUETLER. How successful would HITLER have been if people had to say "Heil Schicklgruber!" Alois was married three times. Adolf was the third child of the third wife. This is were it gets complicated. The third wife Klara POELZL was also from the HILTER family ancestral hometown of Spital, Austria. She was a cousin of Alois. In fact, she was the granddaughter of Alois' uncle – Johann von Nepomuk HUETLER. So, Adolf had HITLER's on his father’s side and his mother’s side. This was not unusual for that area of the world as illegitimacy and inbreeding was common. They were in fact very much typical of the inbreeding folk of the Waldviertel. Though much younger than Adolf (and his niece!) it is reported that she was the only real love of Adolf's life. She lived in his apartment in Munich, went with him everywhere (though probably not always willingly) and was the subject of much rumour. Party officials warned HITLER that it wasn't a good look – he wasn't happy! For reasons that are not clear she committed suicide in Adolf's Munich home. HITLER was absolutely devastated. The rumours that may have weight are that she killed herself because he was too controlling, stopped her from forming a romantic relationship with his driver and (as she told someone else) he made her do things that she found unpalatable. Years later, knowing of Adolf's grief and obsession with Geli, Eva BRAUN was also to attempt suicide in a similar fashion when she felt Adolf had been away from her too long. To put it simply, from what I've read Hitler's grandma wasn't sure which man had impregnated her. Hitler found out that it was a jew that had, so his grandad was Jewish. He tried to make sure no-one found out.

It seems that Hitler was not Jewish. Another common myth is that Hitler committed suicide in Berlin in May 1945. Hitler did not die. To start with Hitler blamed Germany for the loss of the war not himself. He also had a butler that could pass for his twin brother. When this body was found it was wearing darned socks. Hitler DID NOT wear darned socks. He wore only new clothes and changed his clothes a minimum of three times a day. A program on the history channel once claimed the dental records did not match those of Hitler. I don't remember her name but there was a woman pilot(The only woman to recieve the flying cross during WWII)who landed her plane at Hitler's compound in Berlin. She planned to fly her fuhrur to safety. But he refused. He already had a way out. I am sure Hitler is dead by now but he did not die in Berlin in 1945.

There is no smoking gun, so to speak that confirms it. It is possible because such things as racial purity are hard to be certain of and were much harder then. When an ethnic group, especially one that is capable of looking like the mainstream population, is embedded for centuries, mixing is bound to occur even if it is unknown to the descendants.
