    Corn. YOu take off the husks and cook the corn kernels. Then you eat the kernels and throw away the cob, unless you make soup with it of course lol!!!

    Lots of things fit this!

    You can peel an apple (removing the outside)
    then bake it, browning the outside (making it the new outside)
    Eat it, and throw away the core (the inside)
    Not just an apple, but any baked fruit with a core or a pit would work.

    Also, birds like chicken, turkey and duck.
    You pluck and skin them, throw away the entrails, bake, eat, then throw away the bones.
