Does anyone else on here suffer with endometriosis? How is it being treated?

I do and my periods are dreadful. I am not currently on any treatment but I had diagnostic surgery about 2 years ago and they burned the areas that had bad tissue. The doctor said it would come back and the only real cure is a hysterectomy. I plan to have one as soon as I can afford it.
