  • Admiral! I would love to be a part of that! If I cant work security, Then I would like to have a part in the astrometrics lab, and possibly help with tactical issues. I am sure we can find a few others to take part in this, great idea!
  • I'll be a captain of the Federation Cube!
  • What positions do you need? I have about 14 years of leadership experience in various organizations, so I think I might be qualified for command. I know the specs of Sovereign class, Galaxy class, Constitution class, Defiant class, and Nebula class starships. I'm well versed in the history and politics of the UFP. I can speak a little Klingon, and have a Klingon dictionary to help me with translation needs.
  • You announce your group and ask for members. I'd make alliances with the ninjas and jetpackers if i were you. Especially the jetpackers. They are a motley crew.
  • If I can slide in here for a moment (especially seeing as it's my question and idea), I'd like to float a couple of ideas for identifying members. 1. Members should include their chosen (or assigned) rank in front of their username. 2. To distinguish from actual service members, some sort of club identifier should go after the username. Unfortunately, AB doesn't allow special characters in usernames, else I'd suggest we us a hyphen between the username and club identifier (I suggest SFC {and FSMC for those who choose Trek's marines [as seen in Enterprise and two DS9 episodes]}, but am open to suggestions). 3. Those choosing to join a specific "department" are assumed to know something about the subject and are encouraged to seek out and answer questions related to those fields. I'll be changing my own username to include the club identifier as soon as we decide what to use. Thoughts?

  • Dear Sir John, Would it not be a good idea to list all the job descriptions then have baggers apply for them. Put me down for the medic and pick a majority of female crew. Thank You. WYW
  • I am a Klingon. Can I be part of the crew?
  • Whatever you do don't assign ranks to the dreaded red shirts. There seems to be a attrition problem within the Federation.
  • ~Mr. Chief Computer Engineer Dominquez~ I want to be the guy who always has to repair the main computer, and help teach people how to use new things that are installed on the computer.
  • ... start by asking a bunch of appropriate questions, putting them in the "clubs" category, then, after there are several Qs with several answers each, go to the feedback section to suggest a new sub-category to move these Qs to ... __________ I have 5 university science degrees, an interest in space travel, and I'm a fan of Star Trek, Star Wars, Babylon 5, Stargate, Battle Star Galactica, and so on ... but I only want "honourary" membership without any change to my user name, the same way I am in Ninja, Pirates, Jet Packers, and SillyVille ...
  • I would absolutely love and adore being on your Starfleet crew!
  • Admiral Sir John. I see you got the Club approved by the staff. Congrats to that, and it is a fine gesture towards your fellow baggers! And Trekkies!
