Do you think cats and dogs would have way better lives if we never domesticated them? there is so much animal abuse, and so many animals that get killed because they don't have a home, have we made it worse for animals out of our own selfishnessness?

Absolutley not to your question. We would have wild packs of dogs and cats. Then people would shoot them. You are right their is to much animal abuse. That is why they have programs like ASPCA etc. that are trying to stop the abuse. We need better laws for animal rights, and judges that will kick butt in a court room. Their are pet owners and then you have responsible pet owners. I'am glad that animal's are domesticated, because I have two wonder, loving and sweet dogs that bring me lots of joy in my life. It is people like you and me that care alot about animals and how they are treated. Maybe someday people will change their views on animal abuse. If you see it report it I do and have many times. I hope this has helped in some way, and don't forget their are alot of animls that have loving homes. Animal Rights

Yes and no.Life in a wild is not easy,therefore many animals die at young age. Now domesticated dogs will have a good life with responsible and understanding handler,which is able to fulfill their needs...the unlucky ones will be better of in the wild...
