  • There are many things that could cause this. The dog might have eaten something toxic, could be suffering from any number of diseases or parasites, or might have been injured. Or any number of other things. Whatever is causing it, when an animal is vomiting, won't eat, and hardly moves, it's generally very ill. Please take the dog to a veterinarian. Jackie Klos: Before you rate an answer, please make sure you have read the whole answer and understand it. Then rate it on how well it answers the question that was asked. This question didn't ask if the dog should be taken to the vet, it asked what could be wrong. Nevertheless, after answering the question, I said the dog should be taken to the vet. I agree, I don't see why someone wouldn't take their pet to the vet with symptoms this bad. But don't give the ANSWER a low rating because you have an issue with the question. ladypoe: You've got to be kidding.
  • I agree. Some people just love their dogs and if a vet bill can be avoided with a household remedy, it is best. It is better to be safe then sorry, but sometimes common wisdom from fellow dog owners is very helpful!
  • My dog was doing the same thing and it turned out he had eaten somthing that was blocking his digestion. You should get an xray
