A glare screen, you can get them at the local office supply stores. Also check your display settings.

Don't spend so much time at your computer and give it a rest. Staring at the bright screen can cause your eyes to burn.

Wear sunglasses. I'm not kidding, I do. It helps. Other than that, get a screen filter. You might need to search around for one that fits if you've got a flat screen lcd, but the old crt types have a bazillion screen filters available.

First option is a polarized screen filter, though a decent pair of shades may suffice. Another thing that is often overlooked is contrast. I have sensitive eyes myself and find setting my brightness to 0% is not enough. Twiddle the contrast while adjusting brightness and see what you get. The worst thing for me is flicker. I am more susceptible to that than most as I can often see an incandescent light bulb flicker. For me, 75Hz is the ABSOLUTE minimum if I have to look at the screen for more than a few seconds.

Move it away from your eyes. At least two feet.
