I am a musician. (And can't belive I did'nt put more effort into wording my question better to get around that.) I play guitar, piano, and a little harmonica, I'm not that good at any one, but passable at all three, I usually end up playing something like a cross between bluegrass, jazz, and Eagles-style folk/rock. If I were a SUCCESSFUL musician, and could play any kind I wanted, I'd probably end up playing sort of oddball Spanish style, like David Byrne's solo albums.

Rock. I seem to be able to sing many rock songs well. I think if I could, I would make more great rock songs.

Probably some sort of country influenced indie. Such as Wilco or Neko Case. I don't like country, but there's something great about singing and playing twangy stuff. Geez that sounds lame...

Rap. Rap is awesome, good vibe, and really gets the groove on. The Jin kid is a sweeeet rapper. Freestyle. I would also be a guitarist in a band since I play guitar. Here's a video of Jin for SuperPanda.

I have played clarinet and piano since I was 7 and dabbled a little in some other instruments and voice (I went to college to be a music teacher). I love playing classical piano, but what I would truly love to get into would be electronic. I love house; deep, progressive, acid or underground. I actually love just about all kinds of electronic music, from lo-fi and downtempo to drum-n-bass and trance. I'm also a big fan of IDM, like Boards Of Canada. Got lots of ideas, just haven't done anything about them yet.

I play guitar, I have an 89' Dean XL XPLORER solid body with EMG's (Korean made but nice and surprisingly sound), and sustain that lasts for days. My ampage is not for sissys or those who are equipped with pace makers, I play through an array of pedals, Boss, Zoom, Digitech, and Zakk Wylde Wah, all these are then driven through a sonic maximizer and fed into a 300 watt Crate Blue Voodoo amp head loaded through a 4x12 Celestian equipped cabinet...Let there be Rock!

im not a musician but it would probably be rock,punk,...but i love everything techno,goth,pyschadelic.ambient 80,s 90,s...pretty much everything ..besides rap .but i would want my own sound not to sound like others.

This is a hard question for me because I like many different types of music. I like alternative rock, punk, bluegrass, latin, classical, mariachi, reggae, etc. I have to say though if I were to choose one genre of music I would probably play jazz. I love jazz.

I don't consider myself a musician, but I play several different genres from classical to hip hop to R&B to pop. If I were a professional musician, then I'd do R&B music.

Think The Yeah Yeah Yeahs. Which is indie rock with a nice punch of punk rock. If I can scream like a mad man and crawl around the stage like Karen O. does, then I'm all for it.

Big Band jazz music. I love the old Glenn Miller, Benny Goodman, Tommy Dorsey stuff. I'd love to be a trombone player in a big band group. If not that, then classical music as part of an orchestra.

I'd probably jump between trip-hop, dreampop, and instrumental folk that borrows from Nordic folk music. I couldn't do just one. That is assuming I was a talented musician. If not...well, I guess I'd make a band to parody spoken word. It probably wouldn't work.

Heavy Metal/Death Metal/Black Metal/Hard Rock-basically, metal. I have too much anger bottled up inside of myself to play that soft pop crappy rock stuff. Or, I would do some electronica, with turntables and stuff.
