  • Naturally, God made it that way, heard inducing hurts.
  • It depends on how far along I was. If I was at 41 weeks or more I'd HAVE to say induce!!
  • waiting for my baby to come naturally.
  • Naturally, unless I was already 42 weeks along and was already dilating.
  • I am hoping and praying that this kid will come naturally. I'm ten days overdue right now. If I don't have the baby by Friday, by law I have to transfer care from my midwife to an obstetrician - and he's going to want to induce right away, I'm almost sure of it. I think I've tried every old wives' tale in the book to get this kid out... I'm actually SCARED at this point.
  • The baby is what induces birth naturally. I would wait for the baby to be ready. There is no way for me to know why the baby isn't initiating the birth process. Maybe he needs another day or two to get his lungs fully formed, or something like that. UNLESS there was some medical reason that made it important to induce. My second baby was induced when my water broke a month early. There was a high possibility of infection so the doctor induced. It was fast! But he wasn't quite 'done' yet. Needed more time in the oven!
  • My understanding (since all 3 of mine were induced, due to the lack of petocin or "oxytocin", the natural chemical in the body that starts labor), is that (most times) inducing is only done when there is a threat to the pregnancy, such as gestational diabetes, blood pressure problems, too far past the due date, etc.. Some doctors will do it in certain "special" circumstances, (so your child can be born on someones birthday, or for people who have serious "number" superstitions, etc.), but most will ONLY induce if the situation warrants it. My wife's doctor let her go "overtime" on each child, to try and let labor start on its own, but it just wouldn't start. They said her body just did not produce that naturally inducing chemical. But, if we had had the choice, we would have let them come naturally.
  • Naturally I've done both and babies come when they are ready. Induction just brings premature pain and the baby may not be ready.
  • I'm all for natural if possible, at home preferably.
  • Just had a baby this past week and thank GOD that I was not induced. Naturally all the way!!!!!!
  • My wife had to induce me into having a child in the first place. I guess I'd just let any more come naturally, if they're going to come anyway.
  • I would choose to have my kids naturally because I was induced with my first and she did like the med that they gave me and her heart beat went crazy. So thet turned it off and later that day they tried again she was fine with it but it was a long process and I have to have a c-section anyway after 27 and a half hours of labor. So if you have a choice then choose to do it naturally.
  • i had a six hour induced labour, it was horrendous so if i had a choice id go naturally.:)
  • I have five kids. With the exception of one, they were all one month late. I chose waiting. With the one, she was born at her "due date." Yeah, the tests showed her to be a month early. She had some serious health problems.
