The only reason I would is if I couldn't find work, couldn't afford college and really needed to do something with my life. My father spent 8 years in the Navy and he thought it was a great experience.

No. There are better things I can do for my country than die for it, as I've said before. If everything in my life goes down the shitter and I lose everything I care about, then yeah, I'll go enlist.
