  • I don't believe you can put a dollar value on a housewife. What employees do you know that work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week? What would it cost you to employ a full time maid, a full time cook, a full time child care provider, a full time bookkeeper, an administrative assistant (for making appointments and keeping everyone's schedules straight), a tutor for your children to assist with homework? Don't forget nurse to all regardless of how sick she may be. She also runs all the errands (groceries, dry cleaning, prescriptions). In my house add in fixer upper, landscaper, painter etc. I'm sure I'm missing some here! Not only does she do all the dirty work, she's the CEO - all important household decisions are made by her (sometimes with the input of the VP - Dad). That's a business you have running there, and she never quits. Throw on top of that, oodles of love, patience and passion - no matter how tired she is. Now tell me who would sign up for that job - even at top dollar? And the housewife does it all for free!
  • Someone has put an estamated dollar value on housewives basic on all they do that can be value. The estimate value was over $100,000.00 I would like the exact amount and if possible the brake down and who's did the research.
  • The value of a "housewife" is not considered in money.....it is considered in love......
  • Priceless, expecially if it means you have an employee that loves thier boss! :)~
